The big concern in some people is cancer. Every doctor and scientists are trying to figure out how to kill cancer without it killing human beings first. The scary thing is, cancer can show up out of nowhere and kill you, and many people are dying today because of cancer and not beating it.
In the article I have read called “7 steps to cut cancer risk in half”, by Sydney Lupkin is talking about how the simplest things could help people prevent cancer. The seven steps are to get active, control cholesterol, eat better, manage blood pressure, lose weight, reduce blood sugar, and last but not least SMOKING. The National Cancer Institute estimated that 12.5 million people had cancer in the United States as of Jan. 1, 2009. And that 5.7 million people had heart disease. An interesting fact in the article is that if you get at least 30 minutes of exercise each day you can be more healthier and lower risks for heart disease, stroke and diabetes.
The littlest things could give someone cancer. Like for example in the article it shows a slideshow of allergies people can get that can cause or turn into cancer. Milk allergies can cause wheezing, hives, vomiting, and can be a life-threatening reaction. Even though smoking is hard to quit for some people, it is the most cause of cancer because it gets into your lungs and messes them all up. According to the article “ 7 steps to cut cancer risk in half”, the facts and information they give is very helpful and good to use.
